I’ve been in the accounting, tax preparation and training business for a number of years. And over those years, I’ve developed some great relationships with customers and vendors. So it has to be big for me to get excited about sharing these 2 great accounting software deals for businesses.
Whether our businesses are operated by a single person or 20 employees, we all have challenges. For the purpose of this blog I’m referring to great software at a good price and handing over the responsibility of payroll to a 3rd party provider.
Last week I was doing some research for a manufacturing customer that was switching from a very old software program, and wanted to know the best version of QuickBooks to use. I did my due diligence with everything that was available to me but still had some questions. That lead me to speaking with QuickBooks Sales Consultant, Patrick Fernandes. He answered all my questions and even asked me a few to make sure he had a clear understanding of my customer’s needs.
Since I’m a QuickBooks Pro Advisor, he will give my customers 30% off the software, 30% off the 24/7 technical support, set it up immediately to download the software plus mail the software CD at no cost. (I always like to have a CD of the software in case I run into computer or internet problems). He also threw in a couple of extra free items but I’ll let him explain to you how you can benefit from his expertise and pricing. Just tell him I gave you his contact information. I don’t receive any compensation for you using my name from Patrick or Intuit.
Payroll is one of the most challenging and time consuming responsibilities for a business. You need to stay current on the ever-changing payroll laws, know how to prepare a Record of Employment (ROE), and at the end of the year, create T4s and the T4 Summary. Keep your fingers crossed that your reports agree with what you’ve sent the government. We seldom offer payroll services to clients. It’s more cost effective for clients to use a company like Ceridian Canada. We can’t offer the services they do at a comparable cost. If you want a quote, I recommend you contact one of Ceridian’s Small Business Consultants, Josh Benay.
If you tell Josh I recommended you, he will waive the set-up fee (approximately $300) and give you further discounts on the services you want. Again, I don’t receive any compensation for you using my name from Josh or Ceridian.
So, if you’re looking to get some insight on what these companies can offer you and save some money, go ahead and speak with Patrick or Josh.
If you have some great cost savings contacts for business that you’re willing to share, please let me know. I would be happy to pass the information along. And, as always, I welcome your feedback. You can contact me via email or telephone, leave a comment right here on the site, or click the contact tab at the bottom of the screen if you are reading this post on the website.
Until next time,
