Hi, I’m Maureen Burleson, President of The Montana Group. I’ve been doing bookkeeping for clients and preparing tax returns for over 30 years.
My first full time job was at the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce, at the corner of Yonge and St. Clair in Toronto. That’s really when I discovered the love of working with numbers. I became an entrepreneur in 1977, with a small accounting firm located in Toronto. Since that time, I have worked with hundreds of clients, in a variety of industries. Whether retail, wholesale, manufacturing or non-profit organizations, I have a wealth of knowledge and experience in bookkeeping and related services.
Doane House Hospice is a charitable organization that I have been involved in as volunteer for over 16 years now. You can check out their website here.

Rosann Bertacco
Rosann comes to us with more than 30 years in the accounting industry. She has many years of experience with Simply AccountingTM and QuickBooksTM, along with personal tax preparation.
Mai Peck
Mai left a local accounting firm in the summer of 2007 to come work with The Montana Group. Mai is our resident floating bookkeeper, specializing in QuickBooksTM, which allows us to service clients at their location.
Joanne Shier
Joanne spent several years in the banking sector before joining The Montana Group in February of 2007. Joanne brings to our team, dedication to bookkeeping excellence and we welcome her high standards for client care.
